We have been in the sewing machine business for 50 years and are still in business.

The mercury brand has been sold in new Zealand since 1983. and in u.s.a since the 1930s.

Mercury machines have all metal castings and have a life expectancy of well over 100 years.

( they are not made of plastic like many other world famous brands. Plastic castings can warp or twist and can make a sewing machine non repairable )

thanks bruce! the machine works like a charm, and the manual was very helpful. i couldn't get it at first, but after i did i felt like hitting myself! the audio cd was also cool, especially the instructional song (i laughed out loud when i first heard it - my first time ever getting instructions in a song :) what a creative idea. fast and easy trade, nice seller.
